What is the price of a Maine Coon kitten?

Maine Coon kittens are generally priced from $3,500 to $4,500. Pricing varies by the individual kitten’s color, coat expression, traits, age, and placement. Every Coonspire kitten receives the same standard of care, regardless of color or price category.

Standard Maine Coon Kitten Price:

$3,500 - $4,000

This range includes many of the kittens born in our program, including black, black smoke, silver tabby, brown tabby, blue, red, and other beautiful color combinations. Their placement price does not reflect a lower level of care. Every kitten is raised with the same attention to health, temperament, socialization, and a smooth transition into their new home.

Shaded & Select Premium Color Kitten Price:

$4,000 - $4,500

Some Coonspire Maine Coon kittens have a more specialized or highly sought-after coat expression, including shaded, silver shaded, and select light silver or chinchilla-inspired looksThese kittens are priced at the higher end of our Maine Coon kitten pricing range because these color expressions are less commonly available in our program and are often requested by families before they are born.

Polydactyl Maine Coon Kitten Price:

$4,000 - $4,500

Polydactyl Maine Coons have extra toes, creating the large, mitten-like paws that many Maine Coon lovers adore. When available, a polydactyl kitten is generally priced about $500 higher than a comparable non-polydactyl Coonspire Maine Coon kittenBecause not every litter produces polydactyl kittens, families looking specifically for extra toes are welcome to include that preference on their application or waiting-list request.

Our goal is not simply to sell Maine Coon kittens. We want each kitten to transition into a prepared home and become a confident, healthy, deeply loved family member.

Choosing a Coonspire Maine Coon Kitten

We do not place kittens based only on who pays first. We take time to understand what each family is looking for, including preferred color, gender, household environment, other pets, children, and personality preferences.

Some families know they want a black smoke Maine Coon kitten or silver tabby Maine Coon kitten. Others are searching for a shaded Maine Coon, a polydactyl Maine Coon, or simply the kitten whose personality feels right for their home. Our goal is to help every Coonspire kitten join a family where they can thrive.

Maine Coon Breeding Rights

Coonspire occasionally offers breeding rights to a limited number of approved breeders. This option is reserved for breeders who are already actively involved in the breed or for serious new breeders who are willing to learn, follow responsible breeding practices, and build their program carefully.

We are happy to support the right person with guidance on pedigrees, pairing considerations, health testing, kitten care, and responsible placement. We value open communication and want the breeders we work with to be genuinely committed to doing things well.

Breeding-rights pricing is higher than pet placement pricing and is determined individually for each kitten. The final price depends on the kitten’s qualities, pedigree, breeding potential, and the specific terms of the agreement.
